We travelled at the beginning of November and stayed at Shangri La Fiji. Just wanted to let you know it was the best holiday. Loved the accommodation, the location, the food, the weather, the sunsets and the Fijian people. The captain cook cruise to the Tiveau Island was unforgettable. Didn't want to leave Fiji. Went as a group and all of us just want to go back and found it hard to cope with our return. Everything went smoothly with our flights and accommodation. I have recommended My Holiday Centre and the Shangri La to lots of people. Hope we can save and return again in the not so distant future. Thank you for everything. It really was an amazing holiday. I wanted to share the appreciation and delight it has been to have had you look after us in the booking of our Daydream island holiday this year.
Every time we have worked with either My Fiji or My Queensland we have had timely feedback, excellent support and we have always felt special.
Pls share with your manager, great service can only be achieved by the knowledge of the person handling the calls and this time it was Lyndal Shaw. Nothing was a problem, she was quick on the e – mails and phone calls and when you are as busy as I was, she understood and her messages were clear, which kept the process moving. We also had some friends who decided to join us on the holiday and once again Lyndal, handled this booking with the same friendly and enthusiastic approach, they also were impressed and thankful of her support, willingness to assist as well as the timely service.
These days we do not thank people enough and I try where possible to give back to those who have made us feel special, thank you Lyndal for making the start of our holiday such a great experience and we are all looking forward to this much more because of the calm, smooth and friendly way it has been handled.

We had a wonderful time. What a great place for a family holiday.
We were a little bit worried about our kids on the flight but Air Pacific were most attentive and the time seemed to fly (literally). The boys enjoyed watching the flight path readings on the monitor and choosing their movies. Our youngest has ADHD so I thought it would be a complete nightmare but before long we were landing. The flight home was a little more difficult, the smaller aircraft only had shared screens and no movie selection (neither movie, I thought, were appropriate for children) and the headwinds made it a longer flight which was running late due to turbulance, but that can't be helped.
Our room was not ready when we first arrived at the resort but after an hours wait, we were offered free dinner for the whole family and were upgraded to an Ocean Front room complete with free standing bath and triple sized shower. The view we woke up to was spectacular and worth the wait. When we checked in for our 5 night stay we had a ground floor room at the back of the block. Though the bathroom was smaller than the ocean front room, the living area seemed more spacious. We enjoyed being able to watch the kids play whilst we enjoyed a drink on the patio. The rooms were serviced daily which was a nice surprise and also appreciated with lots of wet towels. Some people we met on the cruise were reallocated to the Westin as the Sheraton was booked out. The boys enjoyed kids club, especially the frog hunting and racing, the staff were brilliant.
We had two very wet days which enabled us to keep out of the sun and do a bit of shopping. The Sheraton was lovely. We explored all of the resorts on Denerau and in our opinion, we felt that the Sheraton was the nicest. The layout was excellent, the gardens were immaculate with large grassed areas for games of coconut football. We loved the fact that we were able to explore and use the facilities of the Sheraton Villas and the Westin. We spent one day poolside at the Westin for a change of scenery but were drawn back to the spectacular pool at the Sheraton. We enjoyed looking for frogs in the lilly ponds and exploring the markets in the hotels.
The Blue Lagoon Cruise was the highlight of our stay, the Cruise Director, Miri was most memorable and perfect host. Our 2 boys were amongst only 4 children on the cruise and there was a definate age gap, mostly retirees. Our boys quickly teamed up with the other kids, who were similar in age and became inseperable. As their were so few kids on the cruise, the crew quickly learnt their names and as it turned out, was a good thing, there were other eyes on our kids at all times and Trent and I were able to relax a little. We were upgraded to the middle level on board and allocated 2 cabins adjacent to a walkway with the majority of cabins on the opposite side (our boys didn't make much noise, they were exhausted after a full days activities and slept like logs). This was our first cruise experience and we would definately book a larger cabin if we were to cruise in the future, though this was adequate for a 3 night cruise. The cabins were serviced daily which was fantastic given the volume of wet towels we accumulated.
Transfers all went smooth and running exactly to time (not Fiji time as in some reviews I've read)
Everyone warned us that meals were expensive at the resort, but we didn't think so, about the same as eating every meal out in Australia, and it was much cheaper in Port Denerau. We'll find out the real damage when we get our credit card bill.
We were extremely happy with My Holiday Centre, everything went exactly as planned, we are already planning our trip to Hawaii for next year, you will definitely hear from us soon! Thank you so much Elissa for all of your help.

Have recommended both you and the resort to a few people already. We had a wonderful time in Fiji and the resort gets top marks in our book. We were treated like royalty and even got an invite to the cocktails up on the hill with the management of the resort. The service and the room clean was especially excellent and efficient. Met some of the locals and could not believe how friendly everyone was. Left some hefty tips for them to share in their xmas fund. Now we are back to reality and getting used to not say BULA to everyone, and home to unsmiling faces. Thank you once again for all the help received by you and the other staff at the Holiday Centre and will be using you guys again if and when we take our next holiday.

It was such a relaxing time, we just wanted to sit around the many pools at the resort and soak up the sun. The Sheraton, Restaurants and the Fijian people were just first class all the way.

Well, (sadly) we have now returned from our wonderful holiday in Fiji, and we just want to thank you so much for arranging such a truly fantastic trip! The family wedding we attended was absolutely beautiful, and the whole amazing Fiji experience left us wanting more! The girls were literally treated like little princesses & we were in awe at the level of hospitality afforded us during our stay (both at the Outrigger & from the friendly locals in Sigatoka).
We took the opportunity to visit a Village taking part in a Kava ceremony and rode horses up to a waterfall, which was simply beautiful. We were amazed at just how big the Outrigger Resort is and how much there really was to do there! Honestly, we could have stayed there at least another week (or forever if I had my way )
We both chose the ‘swedish massage’ as our free spa treatments, which was heaven (from someone who has never experienced a professional massage or spa treatment of any kind).
The view from our room was gorgeous, as we were so fortunate to be right near the Ocean & the Talai butler service was also a lovely touch! Although we didn’t utilize the service every day, we both agreed that we were delightfully surprised by some really lovely canapés that we probably would not have otherwise ordered from a menu.
We are very interested in returning to Fiji again and would like to take Fred’s two sons (from a previous marriage) with us next time also! So, please let us know if this kind of deal (kids fly, stay & eat free) becomes available again.Of all the family that attended the wedding, all agreed that WE got the best deal thanks to yourself and the Holiday Centre!

Just dropping you a line to let you know that we had a fantastic time in Fiji. Everything exceeded our expectations… The Sheraton Fiji Villas were great as well as all the staff. All the restaurants were excellent with Ports o Call being a standout. A very unique dining experience. Day cruises to islands were excellent and very relaxing. After leading frantic lives at home it took a little while to get used to "Fiji Time" but in the end we certainly fitted in with their pace of life.

In addition to my previous email to you I would like to share the following with you about The Holiday Centre and our Fiji holiday.
Thank you for organizing such a great family holiday. Sally, Hunter and I had a great time over the seven nights stay at Sheraton Fiji Resort. We enjoyed the ability to use the different resorts on Denarau Island and made the most of this with meals and taking up time while walking and catching the Bulla Bus. The bus one of Hunter's favourite activities. I think because it wasn't set out like a conventional bus here in Australia. The Yasawa and Mana Islands cruises were a highlight, particularly snorkeling in the marine park of Botaira Beach Resort, Naviti Island. Hunter is nine years old and never snorkeled before, except for practicing for Fiji in the bath. I really enjoyed the relaxing mood of our holiday and even appreciated the Yasawa Island cruise time.
The food was fantastic. The people were amazing in the way they treated Hunter. He actually had tears in his eyes the morning we were leaving because he was going to miss everything about Fiji. We would definitely return to Fiji at some time.
You and the Holiday Centre made this trip easy and hassle free.

Well all I can say about our holiday is fantastic! We had the best time.
Our wedding was even more than we dreamed of and perfect. The wedding coordinator Lela was wonderful we wouldn't hesitate recommending Sonaisali and would highly recommend getting married there.
We are now thinking of going to Phuket probably round February next year and are hoping for a similar package. We would definitely book it with you guys. Just a brief note on our return from Fiji.
We had a super time at the Westin - the service was impeccable from room/restaurant/reception and naturally the people were just so friendly. We were in Suva last year on a cruise but it was only a brief couple of days and not too much to see on that part of the Island. You can imagine our surprise on arriving at the Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa, when we realised we had previously stayed there some 20 odd years ago when it was then called The Regent.
The 3 day cruise was a highlight - the islands visited were beautiful and again the food was terrific. Unfortunately no golf though, I had a back problem prior to our departure and it did not improve until I took advantage of a massage at Spa Denarau [twice] which I would highly recommend to any of your clients.

Just to let you know what a fantastic holiday we all had in Fiji!!
The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa was great, we went around Denarau Island looking at the other resorts, and we all thought that the Westin was the best, even though it was the oldest, we felt that it was the most Fijian!! The Fijian staff were just great. Talking to other holiday makers we all agreed that we had got the best value holiday, especially with the evening meals included. The standard of some of the restaurants was unbelievably high especially for a package holiday!!
I could go on and on Tom about how great it was, the island trips, the golf etc etc. I'm hoping that you have been there so you already know, if you haven't - get over there!!!

Both Rory and I wanted to provide some feedback on our recent trip to Denarau Island Fiji.
I would recommend this trip/hotel/your service to anyone who is interested in travelling to Fiji.
The booking of the trip (which Rory did the hard work) to flying everything was taken care of perfectly.
We arrived in Fiji with a warm welcome and waited in the transfer lounge, to the driver took us to our hotel which was very nice. The staff were very hospitable. The location was great. Rory played golf which was included in the package and very close by. The package had dinner included which is one great advantage of this package booking. We tried all the restaurants and loved that it was included, it gave us one less thing to worry about. We only went on one cruise as we left it late to make the bookings but that was a whole day cruise again with everything included. The room credit covered most additional charges. All these little things really helped to make the trip great. It just meant we didn't have to pay any additional cost which is great when you're on holidays not to have to worry about breakfast, dinner, activities etc.
One restaurant I highly recommend all those who go to Fiji is Ports O Call at The Sheraton … for fine dinning this restaurant left us speechless. It was incredible, service, location, ambiance and most of all FOOD! Second on our favourites list was Moo Moo… that too was fantastic.
Your service in making this trip successful and enjoyable is exceptional and I thank you for everything.

Even though we 'found' this holiday package in the sunday papers by chance, Nicholas and I wanted to express our sincere thanks to you for your help in booking and arranging our trip away. Thank you - I had a fabulous time- I loved, loved, loved !! Sonaisali resort - the people the island, the food, the perfect weather the location - right from the time we got on the plane to the transfer, the bus ride to the boat, the boat ride to the fabulous Island - Emily who greeted us at the reception desk - Wow it was amazing - everyone was so friendly - from the cleaners to the gardeners to the service staff, activities staff, bar staff and the beautiful children in the village. If I had the money I would go again tomorrow - and about money it was not expensive at all - My husband & I decided that we would not care about the amount till the end - so we drank and ate and took extra tours and over the course of 10 days only manage to spend $1200. Fiji dollars - Thank you so much for helping us organise such a great trip - I will be back - absolutely, and next time I know there will be more of us. So thank you again P. Thompson
