Day 1: Arrive Darwin
Welcome to Darwin! Make your own way to centrally located Mantra Pandanas Darwin to check-in (from 2pm) and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Kakadu Day Tour (Boxed breakfast, L)
After a scenic drive into Kakadu National Park, travel into the heart of Kakadu for a stunning Top End experience in the Nourlangie region. Start with a short stroll to the ancient rock art galleries at Burrungkuy (Nourlangie Rock). Your guide will tell you about the culture and art that has existed here for tens of thousands of years. Relax over included lunch at Cooinda Lodge. Later in the day, cruise through the vast Yellow Water Billabong, teeming with wildlife. Your guide will take you across the water, sharing with you their vast knowledge of the region, before the relaxing drive back to Darwin for the evening.

Day 3: Darwin Free Day – Sunset Cruise (B, D)
Today is completely free to explore Darwin and take advantage of the inviting pool and amenities at Mantra Pandanas Darwin. Make your way to nearby Darwin Harbour in the late afternoon to meet your relaxing and fun sunset cruise. Complete the experience with delicious freshly caught and cooked fish and chips for dinner onboard. Make your own way back to Mantra Pandanas Darwin at the end of the harbour cruise.

Day 4: Litchfield National Park and Adelaide River Tour (Boxed breakfast, L)
It’s an early start today, with a pick-up from the hotel and drive to Litchfield National Park, where you’ll be immediately struck by the mysterious uniformity of the famous magnetic Litchfield termite mounds. Throughout the day, guides will share their knowledge about the termite’s formation and contribution to the unique ecosystem. Subject to seasonality, the morning will include a refreshing swim at Wangi Falls (subject to seasonal conditions). Take a dip in the tranquil plunge pool below the face of the falls, or follow the 800m loop walk through the surrounding monsoon forest. Lunch is a freshly prepared picnic set up in a peaceful, shaded bush setting. Then move through native bushland to Florence Falls, a scenic waterfall with a plunge pool below. After more guided bushwalking, the cascading waters of Buley Rockhole offer a picturesque chance for a cooling dip. Toward the end of the day, take a Crocodile Cruise on the vast Adelaide River. Your skipper will share their knowledge while you view the local animals in their natural habitat.

Day 5: Darwin Free Day (B)
Take advantage of a full free day to relax, explore the compact city of Darwin and enjoy the Mantra Pandanas Hotel amenities.

Day 6: Depart Darwin (B)
This morning, make your own way to the airport for your onward travel.

An initial deposit from $99 per person is required to secure your booking. The final balance will be due 60 days before departure.
The final balance will be due 5 months before departure.

If you are unable to travel due to government restrictions or supplier cancellations, we will waive our administration fee and assist with a date change or credit less any unrecoverable third-party costs. Credits are subject to supplier conditions and fare differences may apply upon rebooking.

Each amendment incurs a $55 per person administration fee.
Additional fees from third-party suppliers including airlines may apply.

Cancellation after initial deposit: $150 per person administration fee.
Cancellation after second deposit: $300 per person administration fee.
Additional fees from third-party suppliers including airlines may apply.

If there is only one deposit, then the cancellation fee is $300pp.

Each person is entitled to a maximum of one bag not exceeding 20kg on tour, regardless of any other baggage allowance. Porter service is not included and you are expected to carry your own bags. Luggage and personal effects are your own risk and we hold no liability for lost or damaged belongings.

Final documentation will be emailed within two weeks of departure of the respective travel component.

Due to seasonal scheduling, travellers in March and October will have a Free Day on Day 4 and Litchfield Full Day Tour on day 5. The experience on each day is unchanged. The itinerary and its order, sightseeing and transportation may be adjusted as deemed necessary for optimum safety, enjoyment and operation of the tour. This may apply if heavy rainfall impacts river cruise options.
If attractions are not available due to reasons beyond our control such as closures or adverse weather, similar alternatives will be provided where possible. The indicated length of trip includes time in flight and is subject to change depending on the final flight schedule.
Included admissions provide general entrance to the attraction and do not include secondary admissions or expenses inside the venue.
Any reference to ‘optional’, ‘not included’ or ‘exclusions/excluded’ means at your own expense.

Hotel star ratings are either local ratings or self-ratings provided by the supplier. All rooms will be lead-in category or run of house unless otherwise stated. While occupancy is unpredictable due to the impact of Covd-19 on international and group bookings, it is unlikely but possible that the stated hotel may be replaced with an alternative hotel in a similar location with comparable standards and inclusions.

The tour and its optional programs may require minimum numbers to operate.

It is a condition of booking that you must always remain with the tour according to the prescribed program. Departure from the group or deviation from the set itinerary are not permitted unless written prior consent is obtained, otherwise you risk cancellation of remaining land and air arrangements.

All efforts must be made to resolve issues on tour with the tour leader. Complaints must be submitted in writing with substantiated evidence within 10 days of trip completion.

Please notify your guide of any special dietary requirements but note that choices may be limited or not catered for.

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Force majeure means any natural disaster, accident, fire, act of God, act of war, terrorism, legally binding judgment, injunction, action of a court or other relevant authority, emergency, unplanned repairs, maintenance, strike, industrial dispute, work ban, blockade or picketing, travel ban, pandemic, epidemic or outbreak of infectious disease, or other event beyond our reasonable direct or indirect control. In case of force majeure or other extraordinary event that prevents safe travel, we reserve the right to adjust, postpone or cancel the trip.
