Day 1: Arrive Longreach
Enjoy a pick up from the airport and check in after 3pm at Outback Pioneers heritage-inspired accommodation. Your VIP gift and welcome pack will be waiting for you. In the early evening you will be welcomed by your Outback Pioneers host to meet your fellow travellers with a cuppa and home-baked biscuit.
Day 2: Nogo Station Safari, Qantas Founders Museum & Stonegrill® Dining Experience (B, L, D)
Outback Pioneers will pick you up for their Nogo Station Experience, which tours Longreach before heading out to the Kinnons’ historic station. Your Kinnon host will take you on an insiders’ journey of station life, including the merino story in the wool-sheds, Captain Starlight’s stockyards, and an amazing station safari by open-top, double-decker bus to spot outback animals. Finish with a Saddlebag lunch and billy-tea around the gidgee campfire. At midday, transfer to the Qantas Founders Museum to discover the early history of flight and tour the Air Park. Relax at your accommodation before meeting at The Welcome Home restaurant for your Stonegrill® Dining Experience.
Day 3: Cobb and Co Stagecoach Experience & Starlight’s Cruise Experience (B, MT, L, D)
Climb aboard for your Outback Pioneers Cobb & Co Stagecoach Experience, including the stagecoach ride on the old Longreach to Windorah mail route, home-baked scones and tea in the heritage tearoom, followed by a classic Australian movie. Enjoy a billy-can lunch while you watch the Harry Redford Old Time Tent Show. Afterwards, browse The Station Store outback emporium for gifts and souvenirs. At around 4.30pm, transfer to the Thomson River for your Starlight’s Cruise Experience. The cruise is followed by a hearty stockman’s dinner around the campfire with bush poetry then the Starlight’s Spectacular Sound & Light Picture Show.
Day 4: Winton Discovery Day Tour (B, MT, L, D)
Marvel at the magnificent ancient landscape enroute to Winton. Your Outback Pioneers Winton Discovery Day Tour includes the award-winning Australian Age of Dinosaurs museum including the new Dinosaur Canyon, and the landmark Waltzing Matilda Centre. Enjoy lunch at the historic North Gregory Hotel and an afternoon of sights before heading back to Longreach. A hearty Country Fare dinner awaits at The Welcome Home restaurant.
Day 5: Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame (B)
It’s a leisurely start with a gourmet continental breakfast in your room. At 9.15am transfer to the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame to explore the five galleries before lunch at the museum café (own cost). Relax in the afternoon and choose where to enjoy dinner for your last night in town.
Day 6: Depart Longreach (B)
Check out and explore Longreach’s Eagle Street for last minute gifts and fabulous souvenirs before transferring to the airport.

A low deposit of $199 per person is required to secure your tour. The balance will be due 3 months prior to departure. If adding flights, the cost of flights is due upon booking.
Child prices from $1290 per person twin share for children under 15 years of age sharing existing bedding with an adult.
A single supplement from $400 per person is payable in addition to the twin share price for adult solo occupancy.

ACCOMMODATION & ROOMING
Set in a courtyard garden with outback landscaping, the 4-star (self-rated) accommodation is inspired by stable-hands’ accommodation where they slept alongside the horses and saddlery. The Double/Twin room sleeps up to three people (1 x queen, 1 x single), has a great ensuite, free wifi and is fully air-conditioned. The room also has tea and coffee-making facilities and a milk-fridge.

Extra accommodation before and after the tour is not available.
Each amendment incurs a $55 per person administration fee.

A low to moderate level of fitness is required. You will be expected to alight from the coach on your own accord.
Each person is entitled to a strict maximum of one bag not exceeding 20kg on tour, superseding any other baggage allowance.
Please notify us of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking but note that choices may be limited or not catered for.
Flights (if applicable) will be booked at any time after your deposit. The flights included in your package are based on a specific predetermined airfare allowance. Should there be a significant increase in airfares, taxes or government fees at the time of booking flights, then an airfare supplement may be imposed. The flights team will discuss options with you prior to ticketing, should this situation arise. Flights may not operate daily or directly to your destination. The operating schedule of flights is subject to change by the airline and out of our control.
The operation of tours, cruises, trains, hotels, activities, attractions and restaurants are subject to availability and minimum numbers.
The operating schedule and itinerary may be impacted without notice by adverse weather, seasonal factors, closures, local conditions, COVID-19 or other factors beyond our control including force majeure. The itinerary and its order, sightseeing and transportation may be adjusted as deemed appropriate by the operator for optimum safety, enjoyment and operation.
Final documentation will be emailed within two weeks of departure of the respective travel component.

Force majeure means any natural disaster, accident, fire, act of God, act of war, terrorism, legally binding judgment, injunction, action of a court or other relevant authority, emergency, unplanned repairs, maintenance, strike, industrial dispute, work ban, blockade or picketing, travel ban, pandemic, epidemic or outbreak of infectious disease, or other event beyond our reasonable direct or indirect control. In case of force majeure or other extraordinary event that prevents safe travel, the supplier reserves the right to adjust, postpone or cancel the trip.
The pricing, terms and conditions listed herewith shall prevail in the case of any ambiguity or contradiction with other terms.
