Get a taste of world-famous wine regions and award-winning restaurants right at your fingertips.

Day 2: Adelaide – Kangaroo Island (B, L)
Early morning start with a boxed breakfast before your transfer to Cape Jervis for the ferry to Kangaroo Island. Embark on a guided tour of Seal Bay Conservation Park where you can walk on the beach amongst wild sea lions. After a two course lunch, spend the afternoon in Flinders Chase National Park for breathtaking views of its regenerating trees, plants and coastal scenery. Then, travel along the rugged southern coastline for a walk around Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch and the perfect photo opportunity. Conclude the day getting up close to kangaroos and koalas at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park before transferring to your overnight accommodation on the island.

Day 3: Kangaroo Island – Adelaide (B, L)
Experience the amazing ‘in-flight’ Birds of Prey Display at Raptor Domain, one of Australia’s most interactive display of birds and raptors. Then discover Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and enjoy a two course lunch among the gum trees. After lunch, enjoy an informative tour of Clifford’s Honey Farm where you can learn about the extraction process and sample homemade honey food, beverages and beauty products including famous honey ice cream and honey wheat ale. Continue to the spectacular Pennington Bay beach and False Cape Wines Cellar Door for structured wine tasting. Your tour concludes with a bit of free time in Penneshaw before your return ferry and transfer to your Adelaide accommodation.

Day 4: Transfer to Mannum, Murray River Cruise (B, D)
Enjoy a pick up from your hotel at approximately 1.30pm bound for historic Mannum, the birthplace of the Murray River trade. Step aboard PS Murray Princess for a mid-afternoon departure and enjoy a Welcome Dinner as the cruise heads upriver. As you cruise under floodlight to our overnight mooring, you may spot nocturnal wildlife on the riverbank.

Day 5: Murray River Outback Heritage Cruise (B, L, D)
Enjoy a leisurely morning and lunch cruising upriver to Blanchetown where you will go through one of the locks which maintain the flow and water levels of the mighty river. The Murray Princess will moor opposite the township of Blanchetown, where you will join a guided tour of the Burk Salter Boutique Winery and surrounding vineyard. Experience the friendly atmosphere as you relax and enjoy wine tastings at the cellar door.

Day 6: Murray River Outback Heritage Cruise (B, L, D)
Today you will cruise downriver to the picturesque Swan Reach where you will join a guided walking tour to visit the local museum, housed in the original school building that was built in 1917. The museum has a unique collection of documents, photographs and historical items relating to the history of education and society in the river and rural communities. Return to the Murray Princess where you will continue to cruise down to Sunnydale. Go ashore for an authentic outback Woolshed Show and visit the Native Wildlife Shelter. Learn about the typical Australian woolshed history and see some of the native animals that are being cared for. Tonight, enjoy an Aussie BBQ set on the banks of the impressive Murray River.

Day 7: Murray River Outback Heritage Cruise (B, L, D)
Enjoy a bush walk with the Captain before you continue downriver past the magnificent cliffs scoured by the river over millions of years. At Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Reserve, join a guided boardwalk tour to view ancient rock carvings and learn about Aboriginal history in the area. Back on board, adventure seekers can take a scenic tender boat ride. This evening, the Captain and his officers host a spectacular Farewell Buffet Dinner, where you can dress up and enjoy your final night on the Murray Princess.
