Day 1: Australia – Zagreb, Croatia

Welcome to Zagreb, Croatia! Make you own way to your centrally located hotel to check in and relax for the rest of your day.

Note that flights are likely to depart Australia on Day 0.

Day 2: Zagreb (B)

After breakfast at your hotel, take a guided walking tour of historic Zagreb. Start in the Lower Town and view dramatic Baroque and Romanesque architecture. See the old University Library, Mimara Museum and National Theatre. Then take Zagreb’s famously short funicular up to wander through the fortified Upper Town and its monuments, to conclude at Zagreb Cathedral. Enjoy free time for the rest of the day.

Day 3: Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes – Split (393 km) (B)

Take in views of Croatian countryside while travelling to Plitvice Lakes this morning. A National Park tour (approx. 3 hours) highlights the incredible natural beauty of the park, renowned for its 16 lakes arranged in cascades with colours ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. The lakes are interconnected and follow the water flow. The tour – consisting of walks, train rides and crossing the Kozjak lake by boat – takes place in a pristine natural environment.

Day 4: Split (B)

Start the day with a 2 hour (approx.) guided tour. Explore the charming streets of this UNESCO World Heritage listed city, including a visit into the sprawling and beautifully preserved 4th-century Diocletian’s Palace, built for the Roman emperor. The rest of the day is free to relax and discover Split at your own pace.

Day 5: Split – Dubrovnik (230 km) (B)

Your Dalmatian Coast journey continues south to Dubrovnik today. Relax and take in the stunning Adriatic Sea views from the comfort of your air conditioned coach. After arrival and check in, relax with free time for the rest of the day.

Day 6: Dubrovnik (B)

Take in some of Dubrovnik’s famous landmarks and ancient city centre on a half day tour today. Walk along some of the city’s iconic fortress walls, with stunning views into the old city and out over the Adriatic Sea.

Day 7: Dubrovnik – Kotor – Budvar, Montenegro (115 km) (B)

Depart from Dubrovnik after breakfast this morning, heading to Montenegro. Kotor Bay is considered one of the most beautiful bays in Europe and best harbours in the world, able to host a huge fleet. During the guided tour see the beautiful Venetian towns of Risan, and Perast. Take a boat ride to the tiny island to visit the stunning ‘Our Lady of the Rocks’ church and pilgrimage site, built in 1630. Later, you will travel to Kotor, whose Old City walls were built during the 9th century. Conclude the day arriving into Budva.

Day 8: Budvar – Shkoder – Tirana, Albania (187 km) (B)

Budva city itself might be small, but it’s rich in history and has lovely architecture. After breakfast today, explore with a guided walk through the Old Town, on a peninsula in the centre of the city and consisting of narrow cobblestone streets, alleys and little charming squares. Then, cross the border from Montenegro into Albania, visiting the very beautiful historic Old City of Shkodra. End the day in Tirana.

Day 9: Tirana – Lake Orhid, North Macedonia (131 km) (B)

Start the day with a guided tour of Albania’s capital city and its most impressive structures and monuments. Then, it’s another scenic drive today, as you tour to beautiful Lake Orhid in North Macedonia. The region is known for its outstanding natural beauty and charming lakeside townships. Enjoy a boat excursion across the incredibly clear waters, before concluding the day at your hotel.

Day 10: Ohrid – Igoumenitsa – Corfu, Greece (380 km) (B)

Travel from the lake district to the Ionian Coast this morning to board the Greek Islands ferry to Corfu! The scenic cruise takes about 1.5 hours. On arrival, relax for the rest of the day.

Enjoy a relaxed morning tour of some of Corfu’s highlights today, including the neo-classical Mon Repos palace and Achilleion, with its gorgeous gardens and island views. There is plenty of free time to explore the island at your own pace from the afternoon.

Day 12: Corfu – Corinth – Athens (475 km) (B)

Depart the island after breakfast today. On your way to Athens, stop for a guided tour of ancient Corinth, whose historical references begin with the early 8th century BC. Later, check in to your centrally located Athens hotel, with free time for the rest of your day and evening.

Make your own way to the airport for your flight home today.

Single Room Supplement: From $820 per person

Low deposit
A low deposit of $199 per person is required to secure your booking. A second deposit of $1800 per person will be required 10 months prior to departure. The balance will be due 3 months prior to departure.

Child policy
Minimum child age: 12 years old. Children must be accompanied by adults. There is no discount for children travelling.

Flexible date changes
Date changes are permitted for any reason if requested up to 10 months prior to departure or prior to flights being ticketed, strictly subject to availability. Price differences in travel seasons apply (if any).

Peace of mind credit
A full credit will be offered for the tour component if cancelled by the supplier or you are not permitted to travel due to government-imposed border restrictions. Flight credits, if offered by the airline, will be subject to the carrier’s terms and fees.

COVID safe plan
The tour coach will be sanitised regularly. Hotels are hand-selected for enhanced COVID-19 safety and hygiene protocols. Buffet meals may be temporarily suspended for set or a la carte menus.

Baggage policy
Each person is entitled to a strict maximum of one bag not exceeding 20kg on tour, regardless of any other baggage allowance.
Porter service is not included and you are expected to carry your own bags.
Luggage and personal effects are your own risk and we hold no liability for lost or damaged belongings.

Final documentation will be emailed within two weeks of departure of the respective travel component.

The itinerary and its order, sightseeing and transportation may be adjusted as deemed necessary for optimum safety, enjoyment and operation of the tour.
If attractions are not available due to reasons beyond our control such as closures or adverse weather, similar alternatives will be provided where possible.
The indicated length of trip includes time in flight and is subject to change depending on the final flight schedule.
Included admissions provide general entrance to the attraction and do not include secondary admissions or expenses inside the venue.
Any reference to ‘optional’, ‘not included’ or ‘exclusions/excluded’ means at your own expense.

Hotel star ratings are either local ratings or self-ratings provided by the supplier.
All rooms will be lead-in category or run of house unless otherwise stated.

Group size
The the minimum group size for this tour to operate is 19 pax. The maximum group size is 40.

Breakaway policy
It is a condition of booking that you must always remain with the tour according to the prescribed program.
Departure from the group or deviation from the set itinerary are not permitted unless written prior consent is obtained, otherwise you risk cancellation of remaining land and air arrangements.

Feedback policy
All efforts must be made to resolve issues on tour with the tour leader.
Complaints must be submitted in writing with substantiated evidence within 10 days of trip completion.

Please notify your guide of any special dietary requirements but note that choices may be limited or not catered for.

Force majeure
Force majeure means any natural disaster, accident, fire, act of God, act of war, terrorism, legally binding judgment, injunction, action of a court or other relevant authority, emergency, unplanned repairs, maintenance, strike, industrial dispute, work ban, blockade or picketing, travel ban, pandemic, epidemic or outbreak of infectious disease, or other event beyond our reasonable direct or indirect control.
In case of force majeure or other extraordinary event that prevents safe travel, we reserve the right to adjust, postpone or cancel the trip.

The pricing, terms and conditions listed herewith shall prevail in the case of any ambiguity or contradiction with other terms.
