Day 1: Arrive Adelaide
Upon arrival in Adelaide, make your own way to the hotel to begin your cosmopolitan adventure. Known as the city of churches and home to renowned museums, Adelaide is bursting with arts, culture, flavours and entertainment. Get a taste of world-famous wine regions and award-winning restaurants right at your fingertips.

Day 2: Adelaide City, Adelaide Hills & Hahndorf (B)
This comprehensive tour of Adelaide blends the highlights of the city and the quaint but classic Adelaide Hills region. From the towering Mount Lofty Summit to Australia’s oldest German settlement, Hahndorf, you will see the scenic span of the South Australian landscape from the city to the coast. Highlights include historic North Adelaide, St Peters Cathedral, the famous Adelaide Oval, Beerenberg Farm Shop and more.

Day 3: Barossa Food & Wine Experience (B, L)
Enjoy a full day food and wine journey to South Australia’s premium wine region, the Barossa. Take time to sample some of the Barossa’s finest wines and gourmet food that makes this wine region so famous. This tour includes a visit to the new Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, two award winning cellar door experiences, a gourmet 2 course lunch and wine tastings.

Day 4: Adelaide Free Time (B)
Today is your free day to enjoy cosmopolitan Adelaide’s many parks and cafes at your own pace.

Day 5: Board the Great Southern in Adelaide, The Grampians (B, L, D)
Make your own way to the Adelaide Parklands Terminal for a morning departure aboard the legendary Great Southern to Brisbane. After leaving the food and wine capital behind, your first stop is like entering another world. A million years in the making, the Grampians region is celebrated for its wild and spectacular scenery.

Day 6: Great Southern, Canberra (B, L, D)
After breakfast onboard, prepare for an Off Train Experience in the nation’s capital, Canberra. Best known as the home of politics, choose a tour from several of its iconic cultural landmarks and feast on a mouth-watering lunch celebrating local produce.

Day 7: Great Southern, Coffs Harbour & Brisbane (B, L)
Today is all about relaxation as you travel the northern New South Wales coast and enjoy Off Train Experiences that showcase the stunning landscape and beaches around Coffs Harbour before lunch back onboard. Spend the afternoon unwinding and enjoying the creature comforts of the train as you travel to the heart of Brisbane. Make your own way to the hotel in the city centre and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 8: Depart Brisbane (B)
After one final breakfast, bid farewell to the vibrant river city of Brisbane with lasting memories. Make your own way to airport if you are catching a flight.

Experience the Hilton hospitality at Brisbane’s most centrally located hotel.

Airport & rail terminal transfers, travel insurance and anything not explicitly listed under inclusions are at your own expense.

A deposit from $999 per person is required to secure your booking and book flights.
The final balance will be due 5 months before departure.

The lead-in price includes one-way airfare from Brisbane to Adelaide with checked baggage.
Alternatively, return flights from other departure cities incur a surcharge as follows:
Sydney to Adelaide & returning from Brisbane: $150 per person
Melbourne to Adelaide & returning from Brisbane: $200 per person
Perth to Adelaide & returning from Brisbane: $450 per person
Flights will be booked at any time after your deposit.

Solo Occupancy
A single supplement from $500 per person is payable in addition to the twin share price for solo occupancy. Please note that you will be assigned a Gold Service Single cabin (not a Twin cabin), subject to availability.

Triple Share
Triple share is not available.

Child Policy
Children under 4 years of age are not permitted. Children 4 years and above pay the adult price. The cruise and tours involve adult activities and wine tasting experiences not recommended for young children.

Prices are correct at time of publication and are subject to availability, change, cancellation or withdrawal without notice. All prices are in Australian dollars per person twin share unless stated otherwise.

Booking Confirmation
Due to high demand and limited availability of these special rates, bookings are not confirmed until confirmation is sent; usually within 48 hours.

Peace of Mind Policy
If the hotel accommodations, tours or cruise are cancelled by the supplier due to COVID-19, a full credit will be offered.
If flights are cancelled by the airline due to COVID-19, your booking will be subject to the applicable airline policy effective at the time of cancellation.

Amendment Fees
Each amendment requested more than 180 days prior to travel: $150 per person fee.
Each amendment requested 180 to 91 days prior to travel: $200 per person fee.
Each amendment requested 90 to 61 days prior to travel: $400 per person fee.
Each amendment requested less than 61 days prior to travel: Not permitted, loss of 100% of package price.

Cancellation Fees
Cancellation more than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit.
Cancellation within 60 days of departure: Loss of 100% of package price.

Fitness Requirements
A low to moderate level of fitness is required. You will be expected to alight from coaches on your own accord.

Baggage Limit
Each person is entitled to a strict maximum of one bag not exceeding 20kg on tour, superseding any other baggage allowance.

Hotel Accommodation
Every effort will be made to accommodate you in the hotels and properties listed. In the unforeseen event that the listed hotels are not available, properties of similar standard will be provided.
All hotel ratings are local or self-ratings provided by the supplier. All rooms will be lead-in category or run of house unless otherwise specified.

Please notify us of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking but note that choices may be limited or not catered for.

Flights will be booked at any time after your deposit. The flights included in your package are based on a specific predetermined airfare allowance. Should there be a significant increase in airfares, taxes or government fees at the time of booking flights, then an airfare supplement may be imposed. The flights team will discuss options with you prior to ticketing, should this situation arise. Flights may not operate daily or directly to your destination.

Minimum Numbers
The operation of tours, cruises, trains, hotels, activities, attractions and restaurants are subject to availability and minimum numbers.

The operating schedule and itinerary may be impacted without notice by adverse weather, seasonal factors, closures, local conditions, COVID-19 or other factors beyond our control including force majeure. The itinerary and its order, sightseeing and transportation may be adjusted as deemed appropriate by the operator for optimum safety, enjoyment and operation.

Final documentation will be emailed within two weeks of departure of the respective travel component.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included and is strongly recommended. Ask our holiday experts for great coverage options.

Force Majeure
Force majeure means any natural disaster, accident, fire, act of God, act of war, terrorism, legally binding judgment, injunction, action of a court or other relevant authority, emergency, unplanned repairs, maintenance, strike, industrial dispute, work ban, blockade or picketing, travel ban, pandemic, epidemic or outbreak of infectious disease, or other event beyond our reasonable direct or indirect control. In case of force majeure or other extraordinary event that prevents safe travel, the supplier reserves the right to adjust, postpone or cancel the trip.

The pricing, terms and conditions listed herewith shall prevail in the case of any ambiguity or contradiction with other terms.
