Day 1: Alice Springs
Welcome to Alice Springs, the thriving outback town nestled between the East and West MacDonnell Ranges. Make your own way to centrally located, 4 star Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Lasseters for check in from 3pm.

Day 2: Alice Springs – West MacDonnell Ranges – Alice Springs ( B, MT, L)
Head to the hills this morning, to experience the magnificent grandeur of the West MacDonnell Ranges. Marvel at towering fiery red walls aglow in the desert sun as you are driven along the ranges. Stop at beautiful gorges, including Simpsons Gap, Stanley Chasm, the Ochre Pits, and Ormiston Gorge. Be treated to a freshly-made buffet-style lunch. Later, take a break and (optionally) a swim at Ellery Creek Big Hole. Then soak up the outstanding sunset on your guided trip back to Alice Springs.

Day 3: Alice Springs – Uluru Kata Tjuta (B, L, D)
Start the day with a short drive to Erlunda for (included) buffet breakfast en route to Kata Tjuta (Olgas). Walk into beautiful Walpa Gorge to take in the stunning domes of Kata-Tjuta and open plains on return. Then visit the Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn about the local Pitjantjatjara people. Head to the base of the majestic Uluru (Ayers Rock) for a guided a guided Mala Walk, following the north-west side of Uluru. See fascinating examples of Anangu rock art. Along the way, your guide will tell ancient stories of the Anangu People.
Travel by coach to the back section of Uluru and start a guided walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. You’ll hear stories of local traditions and learn how the Anangu people traditionally used the waterhole for hunting. The caves containing rock art were used in the past by the Anangu people, whose ancestors are still alive today.
Complete this extraordinary day with a delicious BBQ in the desert. View the breathtaking Uluru sunset with a glass of bubbly (or BYO beer). Finally, after sunset and dinner, head to the Ayers Rock Resort to check in at Desert Gardens Hotel.

Day 4: Uluru (B)
Rise before the sun and watch as day breaks over majestic Uluru on a guided tour this morning. Enjoy your experienced tour guide’s commentary and a light breakfast before returning to the resort. The changing colours of the dawn will create an Outback scene you will never forget.
In the evening, take the complimentary transfer to Bruce Munro’s acclaimed Field of Light art installation. Covering more than seven football fields with 50,000 spindles of light, watch the Field of Light come to glowing life as Uluru fades into the night.

Day 5: Uluru – Alice Springs (B)
After free time today, take the special sunset transfer through the desert back to Alice Springs. Soak up the ever-changing Red Centre views from your elevated airconditioned coach seat.

Day 6: Alice Springs – Fly – Darwin (B)
Fly to Darwin today. On arrival, make your own way to centrally located Mantra Pandanas Darwin to check-in (from 2pm) and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 7: Kakadu Day Tour (Boxed Breakfast, L)
After an early scenic drive into Kakadu National Park, travel into the heart of Kakadu for a stunning Top End experience in the Nourlangie region. Start with a short stroll to the ancient rock art galleries at Burrungkuy (Nourlangie Rock). Your guide will tell you about the culture and art that has existed here for tens of thousands of years. Relax over included lunch at Cooinda Lodge. Later in the day, cruise through the vast Yellow Water Billabong, teeming with wildlife. Your guide will take you across the water, sharing with you their vast knowledge of the region, before the relaxing drive back to Darwin for the evening.

Day 8: Darwin Free day – Sunset Cruise (B, D)
Today is completely free to explore Darwin and take advantage of the inviting pool and amenities at Mantra Pandanas Darwin. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to Darwin Harbour for a relaxing and fun sunset cruise. Complete the experience with delicious freshly caught and cooked fish and chips for dinner onboard. Be transferred back to Mantra Pandanas Darwin at the end of the harbour cruise.

Day 9: Litchfield National Park and Adelaide River Tour (Boxed Breakfast, L)
It’s an early start today, with a pick-up from the hotel and drive to Litchfield National Park, where you’ll be immediately struck by the mysterious uniformity of the famous magnetic Litchfield termite mounds. Throughout the day, guides will share their knowledge about the termite’s formation and contribution to the unique ecosystem. Subject to seasonality, the morning will include a refreshing swim at Wangi Falls (subject to seasonal conditions). Take a dip in the tranquil plunge pool below the face of the falls, or follow the 800m loop walk through the surrounding monsoon forest. Lunch is a freshly prepared picnic set up in a peaceful, shaded bush setting. Then move through native bushland to Florence Falls, a scenic waterfall with a plunge pool below. After more guided bushwalking, the cascading waters of Buley Rockhole offer a picturesque chance for a cooling dip. Toward the end of the day, take a Crocodile Cruise on the vast Adelaide River. Your skipper will share their knowledge while you view the local animals in their natural habitat.
