Day 1: Darwin, Australia

Darwin is one of the far north’s true underestimated beauties. Food and festival culture is big and there seems to always be something to do or see. Arrive in Darwin today and spend your evening at leisure exploring this tropical city.

Day 2: Darwin, Australia

Discover Darwin with a city sights tour immersing yourself in the history and culture of the region.

Day 3: Kakadu National Park

Kakadu National Park Day Tour. Today you will visit the World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park. You will encounter an array of terrain, ranging from wetlands, rivers, and sandstone escarpments. Aboriginal custodians; The Bininj/Mungguy have nurtured and loved this area of land for centuries, allowing the National Park and its inhabitants to thrive with vibrancy and abundance.

Day 4: Darwin, Australia

Enjoy a morning spent at leisure and meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers this afternoon.

Day 5: Darwin – Katherine

Travel from Darwin to Katherine. Enjoy an Art masterclass led by a local indigenous artist & a dinner cruise through the dramatic Katherine Gorge. See dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches, pristine wilderness, and wildlife.

Day 6: Katherine – Lake Argyle – Kununurra

Continue across the top end. Marvel during your Photo stops at Lake Argyle to see the lake, 21 times bigger than Sydney Harbour. Cruise on the Ord River, in Kununurra, one of Western Australia’s most scenic and significant waterways.

Day 7: Kununurra

Today is at your leisure Choose to take an optional excursion and explore nearby UNESCO – listed Purnululu National Park and the dramatic beehive formations of the Bungle Bungle Ranges on a scenic flightseeing or 4 – wheel drive tour. Your Tour Director will have suggestions for additional sightseeing and ways to spend your day.

Day 8: Kununurra – El Questro Station

Drive to the famous El Questro Station in the heart of the Kimberley region and covering 700,000 acres of a stunning landscape. Take a Guided walk to Emma Gorge with time to enjoy the tranquil setting and take a relaxing swim to the waterfall; special dinner under the sweeping outback evening sky.

Day 9: El Questro Station

Today is at your leisure with the freedom to explore and discover as you choose. Optional visit to Zebedee Thermal Springs, where you can emerge and relax in the warm waters. Choose to explore more of the walking tracks, go horseback riding, or take a scenic helicopter flight.

Day 10: El Questro Station – Fitzroy Crossing

Continue across the Top End & spend an evening at leisure at Fitzroy Crossing. You may want to explore the Art Centre and Gallery or perhaps visit the original Fitzroy Crossing townsite.

Day 11: Fitzroy Crossing – Broome

Cruise through the stunning Geikie Gorge, known for its sheer white and grey walls. Learn the gorge’s history and geology plus there’s a chance to spot local wildlife such as freshwater crocodiles and wallabies. Discover Broome with an Orientation tour. Evening at leisure. There’s time to stroll on the beach, wander through Chinatown or shop for pearls.

Day 12: Broome

Make the most of your day at leisure. Choose to experience a trip of a lifetime when you join an optional excursion to Horizontal Falls; take a scenic seaplane flight and then take a thrilling ride on a fast boat through the waterfalls. It’s an opportunity not to miss! Spend your last night with your new friends by indulging in a tasting at a craft brewery followed by a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 13: Broome

Farewell Broome as your tour ends and you fly home today.
