Things To Do

The Gold Coast offers plenty of activities and entertainment. You can reach much of the Gold Coast via the G:Link tram including Surfers Paradise, Main Beach and beyond or take a tour to explore the stunning Gold Coast Hinterland, it’s not called the green behind the gold for nothing! You’ll need a week to discover every theme park on offer, but the major parks include Seaworld, Dreamworld, Movieworld, Wet’n’Wild and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary to name a few. With so many water ways, boating is a great way to see the magnificent mansions along the rivers and canals, experience some whale watching on the open ocean or try some high adrenaline jet boating or jet skiing to explore South Stradbroke Island from the Broadwater. Play around on one of many public and private golf courses or perhaps take a scenic flight to get a birds-eye view of the coast’s stunning mountain and beaches. Of course if you love to surf, the Gold Coast has many point breaks and beach breaks to keep you active or simply hire a bicycle from the resort and find your way around on the many cycle paths available. As the sun sets, the fun begins at a variety of restaurant and entertainment districts plus you can have a flutter at many sporting clubs as well as Star Casino.
